In January 2010
The Seven Meadows group won in the categories of Beautification and Conservation.
To maintain the beautification of the medians in the streets, the community association installed irrigation lines, grass and new plant material on an area it does not own but which is within the community.
With the help of a specialist, the community association was able to conserve energy and water (and money) through more sustainable use of the building’s HVAC, lighting, water heating, negotiating better power factor and electrical rates.
CAI’s Community Association Recognition of Excellence in Service recognizes area organizations and community associations in which employees, homeowners and/or the volunteer leadership go the extra mile or conduct events that improve the spirit of community in their condominium, townhome and subdivision association.
